Why AI should be used to respect, not make fun of, people.
People come from all kinds of backgrounds. Using AI to make fun of how someone looks, sounds, or believes is never okay.
Ask an AI helper to teach you one cool tradition from a country you've never visited.
Imagine someone in your class makes an AI-generated joke that mocks another student's name because it sounds different. Even if the AI wrote it, sharing that joke means choosing to spread something disrespectful. People come from all kinds of families, speak different languages, have different traditions, and look different — and all of those things are worth celebrating, not mocking. When you use AI to learn about a culture you don't know, that's respectful curiosity. When you use AI to mock or stereotype a group of people, that's bias in action. AI tools learn from people — and sometimes they carry unfair ideas from the past into their answers. That means it's YOUR job as a thoughtful person to notice when AI says or creates something that's unkind or unfair to a group of people. Speak up, ask a grown-up, and choose to use AI in ways that bring people together.
