Do I need to know how to code?: No. Most lessons assume you have never written a line of code in your life. Coding lessons are clearly labeled.
Is there a free version?: Yes. Tendril learning access is free, no credit card required. A free account saves progress and includes certificates, dashboards, quizzes, and guided projects.
Will it cost me money to try?: No. Learners do not pay for Tendril access. If you are connected to a school or library program, an admin can create or invite your managed account — see library access.
How long does a lesson take?: Most first lessons run 5 to 10 minutes. Longer lessons (20-45 min) are clearly marked. You can pause and pick up later.
