We don’t sell to advertisers. We don’t target your kid with anything. COPPA-aware consent and deletion flows are part of the rollout path.
Tutor questions are proxied through Tendril, and we avoid sending account identifiers to model providers. We also teach kids not to enter personal details.
Sign up alongside your child with your own account to view their progress and learning activity together. Account deletion requests can be submitted via our privacy contact.

Yes — and that's a real answer, not marketing. Under-13 use requires your verifiable consent. Lessons are age-tiered, account controls are parent-aware, and guided activities tell learners to keep personal details out of AI tools.
Nothing if you’re an adult. But OpenAI’s ToS requires users to be 13+ with a parent account for 13–17, and the consumer product has no age-appropriate tuning. Our portal is specifically scoped, moderated, and curricular.
No — it complements it. If your district is running aiEDU, Day of AI, or Code.org, Tendril can be the managed “learn more at home” extension. If your district isn’t running any AI curriculum, you can use ours structured, aligned to AI4K12 / ISTE / CSTA.
Tendril is pursuing COPPA Safe Harbor certification through recognized programs like iKeepSafe or kidSAFE. Until certification is granted, we follow COPPA requirements directly as described in our Privacy Policy. Your child’s data is handled with the same care a certified program requires.
Tendril learning access is free. A free account saves progress, bookmarks, certificates, guided projects, and dashboard settings. If your school or library joins, its admin can create or invite a managed learner account. See the free-access page.
