The prompt template
Code example
I am planning these meals this week:
- [meal 1]
- [meal 2]
- [meal 3]
I already have: [list pantry staples].
My grocery store organizes by produce, dairy, meat, dry goods, frozen.
Make one consolidated grocery list grouped by section. Combine duplicates. Estimate quantities for a family of [N].- List meals as bullets so the model can parse them.
- Naming the store sections gives a usable layout.
- Saying 'family of N' avoids generic two-person assumptions.
