AI is the most fun when you actually finish something with it. Picking one project, planning it, and finishing it is the whole creative skill.
Some examples
- Pick ONE: comic, song, story, recipe, dance, level, board game
- Spend 10 minutes planning with AI before you start making
- Spend most of your time actually making — not prompting
- Show one real human at the end — that part matters

Practice this safely
Try this with a low-stakes example and a trusted adult nearby. The goal is to notice how AI talks about project, not to let it make the decision for you.
- 1Ask AI to explain project in plain language, then underline anything that sounds uncertain or too broad.
- 2Give it one detail from "Capstone: Make Something Real With AI This Week" and ask for two possible next steps plus one reason each step might be wrong.
