Some apps can take a photo of a paper receipt and turn it into a tidy list. Each item, each price, the total at the bottom — all typed out.
Behind the scenes, AI is reading the squiggly receipt printing. Then it sorts the words: 'milk' goes with '$3.49', 'tax' goes near the bottom. Pretty neat.
