The big idea
AI is helpful for SOME health stuff. For OTHER things, you NEED real doctors and grown-ups. Knowing the difference can save your life or someone else's.
Some examples
- Chest pain or trouble breathing — call 911. Never an AI app.
- Severe bleeding — go to ER. Never just AI.
- Allergic reaction (swelling, hives) — call 911 or go to ER.
- Mental health crisis (thinking about hurting yourself) — call/text 988 or tell a trusted adult IMMEDIATELY.
Try it!
Memorize 988 (suicide and crisis lifeline). It is the easiest number to remember and works for crisis. Tell a friend too.
