The Doctor on Screen
Sometimes you don't need to go to the clinic — you can have a doctor visit on a screen. That's called telehealth. It works for many small problems.
AI in the call can show the doctor things in real time, like the color of your throat or the pattern of a rash. It also writes the notes from the chat, just like in person.
Telehealth is great for
- Coughs, colds, and rashes
- Quick check-ins after a hospital visit
- Talking to a specialist far away
- When weather makes the trip hard
Key terms in this lesson
The big idea: telehealth is a real doctor visit — just from your couch.
