AI is creating brand new types of jobs. Here are some that did not exist 5 years ago — and might be huge by the time you grow up.

The big idea
Every time a new technology comes along, it creates jobs nobody knew about before. Cars created mechanics. Computers created software engineers. AI is creating its own batch of new careers right now.
Some examples
- Prompt engineer: someone who writes really good prompts to get the best out of AI.
- AI safety researcher: someone who studies how to keep AI from doing harm.
- AI trainer: someone who teaches AI by giving examples and feedback.
- AI ethicist: someone who thinks about what AI should and should not do.
