Section 1
The simplest trick in the book
If the AI's answer sounds too complicated, you don't have to start over. Just type: 'Explain that like I'm a younger kid.' Or: 'Explain it like I'm five.' The AI will switch gears and use easier words and fun comparisons.
Try it live
Same question, answer on your level.
FIRST ASK: What is a black hole?
(AI gives a long, scientific answer with words like 'gravitational singularity.')
FOLLOW-UP: Explain it like I'm 6.
(AI: 'Imagine a vacuum cleaner in space so strong that even light can't escape. It started as a giant star that got squished really small.')You can also go the other way. 'Explain it like I'm in high school' pushes the answer up. The AI adjusts to whatever level you ask for.
Variations that work
- 'Explain it to a kindergartener.'
- 'Use an animal story to explain this.'
- 'Compare it to something in a kitchen.'
- 'Tell me like you're my older sister who just learned this.'
- 'No fancy words — swap them for everyday ones.'

The Try-Again Trick
The first answer is almost never the best answer. Great prompters try, look at what came back, and tweak. Small changes make huge differences. Not even the person who made the AI.
