Section 1
The big idea
AI can put any face on any body in seconds, and teens have been arrested and expelled for using this on classmates. Most US states now have laws specifically banning AI-generated nude images, and federal law is catching up fast.
Some examples
- Multiple states (CA, NY, TX, FL, more) ban AI-generated explicit images of real people.
- Schools are expelling students who make or share these images.
- The 'Take It Down Act' (2025) makes posting these federally illegal.
- Even sharing without making counts. Even 'just for laughs' counts.
Try it!
If you ever see a fake image of a classmate, don't share it. Tell a trusted adult and report it on the platform. You can save someone real harm.
