AI and Translation Apps
Translation apps use AI to change words from one language to another.

The big idea
AI can take 'hello' in English and instantly say 'hola' in Spanish, 'bonjour' in French, or 'konnichiwa' in Japanese. That helps people who speak different languages talk to each other! Some apps even translate signs you point your camera at.
Some examples
- AI translates a kid's book into another language.
- AI helps a tourist read a restaurant menu.
- AI translates a video call between two friends in different countries.
- AI sometimes mixes up words that have two meanings.
