Section 1
The big idea
Sometimes an AI agent gets confused and just keeps trying the same thing forever. It is called being stuck in a loop. It is annoying and can waste a lot of time and money.
Some examples
- An agent trying to find a website keeps clicking the same broken link.
- An agent doing math keeps making the same wrong calculation, then trying again.
- An agent answering an email keeps rewriting the same draft, never sending it.
- An agent looking for a recipe keeps searching the same words and getting the same results.
Try it!
Think about times YOU got stuck in a loop. (Like when you can not remember a word, and you keep trying to remember the same way.) What helps you break out? Same idea works for agents.
