AI image makers are amazing — but they still mess up the small stuff. Hands, eyes, text, and reflections are where they goof. If you know what to look for, fakes get easy to spot.

The giveaway checklist

HANDS: Six fingers? Tiny thumbs? Two thumbs?
EYES: Pupils different sizes? Looking different ways?
TEXT on signs: Letters that look like alien squiggles
JEWELRY: Earrings that fade into skin
TEETH: Way too many, or two front teeth that blur together
REFLECTIONS: Mirror shows something different than the real scene

Why these slip-ups?

AI sees patterns of pictures, but does not really understand what fingers DO or how mirrors WORK. So it copies a fuzzy idea and hopes for the best.
