AI Has No Real Experiences (Just Knowledge of Them)

AI knows about everything. It has never EXPERIENCED anything. That difference matters.

The big idea

AI has read about beach trips, broken hearts, learning to ride a bike. But it has never DONE any of it. It knows ABOUT life but does not LIVE life. That difference is huge.

Some examples

AI knows what people say about heartbreak. It has never felt heartbroken.
AI knows what people write about ice cream. It has never tasted ice cream.
AI knows about friendship. It has never had a friend.
AI describes feelings well — but it does not actually feel them.

The rule

Your experiences are uniquely yours. AI cannot have them. That is one reason real life matters more than AI.

Try it!

Today, do something AI cannot do — taste a new food, hug someone you love, jump in a puddle. Notice that AI cannot have what you just had.
