Some giant AI models are slow and overkill — smaller AI can be faster and just as good.

The big idea

Bigger AI models know more but are slower and use more energy. For simple jobs, a small AI can do just as well, way faster.

Some examples

A tiny AI on your phone can answer 'set timer for 5 minutes' in a flash.
A giant AI might take 10 seconds to answer the same question.
Small AI uses less battery and electricity.
Big AI is best for hard jobs like writing a long report.

Use a small AI for small jobs and save the big AI for the hard ones.
