An optional pleasure
Some people enjoy posting their progress online. It is completely optional. If you do not have an X account, skip this lesson.
How to share
- 1Open the lesson, certificate, or dashboard you want to share.
- 2Click the Share button (the arrow icon, sometimes labeled 'Share').
- 3Choose 'Post on X' from the menu.
- 4A new window opens with X's posting box.
- 5Edit the text however you like, then click Post.
Key terms in this lesson
The big idea: if it would feel good to tell a friend, you can post it. If it would feel weird, do not.
Practice this safely
Try this with a low-stakes example and a trusted adult nearby. The goal is to notice how AI talks about share, not to let it make the decision for you.
- 1Ask AI to explain share in plain language, then underline anything that sounds uncertain or too broad.
- 2Give it one detail from "How to Share Progress on X (Twitter)" and ask for two possible next steps plus one reason each step might be wrong.
- 3Check social media against a trusted source, teacher, adult, expert, or original document before you use it.
